FAU RUGBY CLUB LAUNCHES CALENDAR TO RAISE FUNDS

HOLLYWOOD – Rugby enthusiasts and Florida Atlantic University supporters in general are invited to join the FAU Rugby Club as they launch their 2007 team calendar.

The launch party will take place on Friday, October 6, 2006, at The Park Sports Club at the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Fl, from 7:30pm – 9:30pm. Hundreds of college students from FAU campuses as far north as Jupiter and as far south as Dania Beach are expected to come out and celebrate the calendar’s release. The FAU Rugby Club is funded to some degree by the school itself, but relies heavily on donations and community support to operate. Team action shots will be the focus of the calendar that was made possible by Dynacolor Graphics and the following sponsors: Sun-Sentinel, Comcast Cable, City Link, 620 Subs, FPL, Miami Dolphins, Progressive Employer Services, Miami Heat, Simply Heaven Hot Air Balloons, the Hickman family, and Cameron Benson, City Manager of Hollywood.

One thousand full color calendars will be printed and can be purchased for $12 each at the launch party on October 6th or by contacting the Head Coach, John Cawthray, at (561) 702-8009. Proceeds from the calendar sales will help fund the FAU Rugby Club.
